We are familiar with our customers requirements and desires. This is the reason that we always endeavor to manufacture customized products. Our Solar Agricultural/Garden Systems are used at every nook and corner of India as well as worldwide.
Solar Agricultural System- Our solar agricultural system has been a huge success with farmers in northern India where there is a need of specific area cultivation and water is scarce
- Dawn to dusk operation has DC motor pumping set running on solar energy
- Available in 1 Hp to 3 Hp power ranges
- Also useful in step cultivation in hilly areas
Water PumpingWater is an absolute necessity for human survival. In a scenario of fast depleting fossil fuels and increasing ecological concerns, tapping of ground water with a renewable source of energy, which is abundant, depending and pollution-free is very much desirable, particularly in a developing country. One such renewable energy source uses the abundantly available sunlight and the physics of Photovoltaic (PV) by which sunlight is directly converted into DC electricity by means of a Photovoltaic (PV) module.
SPV Water Pumping SystemA Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) Water Pumping System, essentially consists of a SPV panel/array directly powering a water pump. The water pumped during the day can be stored in storage tanks for use during night. Saur Oorja Solution India Pvt Ltd offers SPV water pumping system for both shallow well and deep well conditions. Such system has been deployed in large number all over the country. These systems have also been exported to many developing countries. Normally, no storage batteries are provided, as the water can be stored in storage tanks, if required.
Features of SPV Water Pumping System:SPV Array SAV array consists of number of CEL make PV modules. Each module comprises a number of single crystalline silicon solar cells connected in series and hermetically sealed using standard lamination material on back and toughened glass on top using state-of-the-art technology. The laminates are then framed using anodized aluminum channels. These are manufactured to withstand all climatic condition. The modules conform to stringent national and international standards. CEL modules have been test qualified by Solar Energy Center, Ministry of Non-conventional Energy Sources, Govt. of India, New Delhi and internationally renowned agency – Joint Research Center, European Commission, Ispra, Italy.
Mounting structureThe SPV module are mounted on a metallic frame and suitably connected in series and parallel combination to form the SPV array. The structure is firmly grouted on the ground and oriented so that the SPV array faces south. The frame has a provision for the three times manual tracking in a day to get maximum solar insolation. It also has provision for changing the angle of inclination with respect to the horizontal in order to take care of the seasonal variation.
A junction box with an ON/OFF Switch is fixed on the supporting pole below the SPV panel and connected through a suitable cable directly to the DC centrifugal motor pump set or to the AC submersible pump through an inverter.
Surface centrifugal pumpThe surface centrifugal pump is a mono-block pump operating on DC electricity. It has a high water to wire efficiency. The characteristics of the pump and solar panel have been matched for an overall superior performance. The mono-block pump set is generally mounted near the bore/open well and it is suitable for pumping water from a suction head of upto 7.5 meters. A graph depicting Water Output (Kil Litres/day) vs Total Head is given in overleaf.
Submersible pumpAn AC submersible pump with a specially designed inverter is used in the SPV Deep Well Water Pumping System. The inverter converts the DC Voltage supplied by the SPV array into a three phase AC voltage with variable frequency. The frequency and thus the speed of submersible motor vary with intensity of the solar irradiation. The inverter unit incorporates the main switch and has LEDs for indicating the operating conditions. The submersible pump is installed below the water level in a bore well or opens well. Delivery is obtained through a riser pipe of sufficient length. The pump is energized through a drop cable, which has a tough sheath. The pump has corrosion proof parts and water lubricated bearing and requires minimal maintenance. These systems can pump water from a depth upto 125 meters, which can be stored, if needed, in tanks of suitable capacity (the tanks are to be provided by the users).
